Everything looks wonderful! I always freeze brown bananas but forget to take the peels off so then I just have slime once they thaw. Great idea!

I read this just as I put a whole bunch of bananas into the freezer for smoothies, but you had me at the bacon. Oh, my! This is the first year in quite some time that we didn't raise pigs, and I sure do miss having a freezer full of bacon. Carrot sticks usually come back home with my son, but he'll eat them when he gets home, ha ha! Lovin' the Hop...cheers!


Thanks Kylie! The stir-fry starts with a paste of scallions, cilantro, jalapenos and turmeric, and then you add par-boiled fingerling potatoes and cauliflower, and coconut milk. It's one of my favorites at this time of year, warming but not too heavy. I'm not sure why I haven't shared it on ye olde blog yet, but I probably should!
